GAZI UNIVERSITY CENTRAL CAMPUS

How to go?

You can easily reach Gazi University Central Campus, located in the center of Ankara, by using bus, metro, minibus and taxi.

Transportation from Ankara Intercity Bus Terminal (AŞTİ):

 If you want to reach Central Campus from AŞTİ via Ankaray (Green line), you should get off at Beşevler stop and walk for approximately 1 km. In addition, EGO bus lines departing from AŞTİ or passing through this route, active as of November 2022, are as follows: 157, 506-2, 513-2, 518-2, 519-2, 543-2. In addition, all blue minibuses moving in the direction of Mevlana Boulevard Ankamall (Samsun road), in front of AŞTİ, pass in front of Gazi University Central Campus.  If you use a blue minibus, you can get off in front of Sabancı Girls' Dormitory or Etiler Ordu House and reach Gazi University Central Campus within a 250-meter walking distance.

Transportation from Esenboğa Airport (ESB):

EGO Bus: You can take EGO Buses with line number 442 Aşti-15 July Kızılay National Will Square-Airport, get off at Kızılay National Will Square, take the Ankaray line on the Metro, get off at the "Beşevler" stop and reach Gazi University Central Campus in 5 minutes by taxi or 15 minutes on foot.

Havaş: Havaş buses from Ankara Esenboğa Airport stop at different routes of the city every half hour and reach the last stop, AŞTİ. These routes are between 35 and 45 km and the total transportation time is 60 minutes on average (depending on urban traffic density). After reaching AŞTİ from the airport, you can reach Gazi University Central Campus from AŞTİ by many different methods, as mentioned above.

Transportation from High Speed Train (YHT) Station:

You can walk approximately 600 meters, reach Maltepe Ankaray (Green line) stop, use the rail system towards AŞTİ route, get off at Beşevler stop and walk approximately 1 km. Additionally, all blue minibuses going in front of YHT Station towards Gazi District can be used. You can reach Gazi University Central Campus  by getting off the blue minibuses in front of the YHT Station and getting off in front of Ankara Gazi Mustafa Kemal Occupational and Environmental Diseases Hospital. EGO bus lines, which depart from the YHT Station and pass from points close to Gazi University Central Campus, active as of November 2022, are as follows: 157, 220-7, 542, 542-1.

Transportation from Kızılay:

 Ankaray (Green Line) rail systems can be used to reach Gazi University Central Campus from Kızılay. When using Ankaray from Kızılay towards AŞTİ, you can get off at Beşevler stop and walk approximately 1 km. In addition, EGO bus line numbers departing from Kızılay and active as of November 2022 are as follows: 220-7, 340, 383.

Transportation from Ulus:

 It is possible to reach the Gazi University Central Campus from Ulus, another important center of Ankara, by many alternative methods. For transportation by rail system, you can reach Kızılay from Ulus Metro (Red line), transfer to Ankaray (Green line), continue in the direction of AŞTİ and get off at Beşevler stop. Then, you can reach Gazi University Central Campus by walking 1 km. In addition, EGO bus lines passing in the direction of Ulus and active as of November 2022 are as follows: 150-2, 198-2. In addition, all blue minibus lines departing from this location, Ulus being the last stop, and using Mevlana Boulevard, pass next to Gazi University Central Campus.
